Samantha Whitney is a member of the Firm's Estate and Financial Planning and Corporate Law Departments. As a member of these departments, Ms. Whitney assists clients in estate administration by obtaining fiduciary appointments and by closing both large and small estates; she also prepares contracts and represents individuals and businesses in real estate transactions and further provides estate planning services, which includes tax planning advice, drafting of wills, trusts and other estate planning documents. Prior to joining Hinman Straub, Ms. Whitney practiced law in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Ms. Whitney currently serves as a Board Member of the Capital District Women's Bar Association, where she also serves as the Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee. She is also a Board Member of the Tri-County Riding Association.
