AG Announces Settlement in Pension Fund Investigation

The Attorney’s General’s Public Integrity Bureau entered into a settlement with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, which acted on behalf of financial firms seeking investments from public pension funds without a securities license.

The firm has agreed to a five-year ban from appearing before any public pension fund in New York, to pay $550,000 to the State, and to cooperate with the Attorney General’s investigation.

The agreement can be found here.
